EmberQuest Citadel studio workspace with concept art and hardware

We build handmade RPGs, roguelikes and cozy sims out of a small workshop on Ossington Avenue — and we help other studios ship theirs through co-development and playtesting.

A note from the founder

Small team, stubborn craft.

I started EmberQuest Citadel in 2016 after a decade shipping other people's launch titles. I wanted a studio where seven people could actually finish a game they were proud of — not a factory chasing trends. Everything you play from us was hand-tuned in the same room.

We keep the roster deliberately tiny: two designers, three engineers, an animator and a composer. That means every mechanic gets argued over a real table on Ossington, and every build gets played by all of us before it leaves the building.
